Meet the Doctors
Dr. Scot
Dr. Scot O’Donnell is a native of Chicago and earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Illinois. He continued his education at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, from which he graduated with honors in 1994.
His postdoctoral residency was completed at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. While there, he earned a Master of Science and a specialty certificate in orthodontics. His research on early treatment was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Scot is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists. He proudly supports the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Autism Speaks.
Dr. Scot was fortunate to meet his wife Barbara, a native Austinite, during their residency in Oklahoma. They have three children: Tommy, Sarah, and Jake.

Dr. Barbara
Dr. Barbara O'Donnell is originally from Austin and attended Anderson High School. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Texas, she spent the next year teaching high-school biology in Irving, Texas. While there, she developed a passion for mentoring young people and instilling confidence to help them thrive.
She enrolled at Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated with honors. Dr. Barbara completed her postdoctoral residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and earned a Master of Science degree and a Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Barbara enjoys playing tennis, wakesurfing and eFoiling with her boys, Tommy and Jake. She and her daughter, Sarah, love riding and caring for their horses, Butch and Sundance, and helping their little dogs, Bailey and Pugsley, adapt to life on the ranch. Dr. Barbara believes everyone has unique qualities and value and looks forward to working with you to achieve your orthodontic goals.
